Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy involves the use of Ketamine to aid the psychotherapeutic process. Ketamine has been safely and legally used as an anesthetic for decades, and is used off-label for the treatment of mental health conditions. A significant body of research shows KAP is an effective treatment for depression, and can be particularly effective when other treatments have failed.

At low doses, Ketamine can cause an opening and relaxation that aids the therapeutic process, and at higher doses it can produce a psychedelic experience that can be the basis for transformation. Ketamine may facilitate neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to make new connections and rewire old habits and thoughts.

KAP is typically done in six dosing sessions or less, and involves therapeutic preparation beforehand and integration afterwards.

Psychedelic Integration

Integration of a psychedelic experience involves taking the insights, emotions, and other things that arose during a journey and integrating them into our daily lives. Integration is a dynamic, unfolding process that takes place over time. It may begin with preparation before the journey and continue to the processing that occurs afterwards. Whether your experience was blissful, challenging, confusing, or destabilizing, I provide therapeutic support for your process, and help to reduce harm as you integrate psychedelic experiences.

Please note: I do not offer or administer psychedelic substances, make referrals for these substances, or accompany people taking these substances. My services are for people looking for a psychotherapist with psychedelic integration experience for journeys that occur outside of our time together.
